Re-animated

Re-Animated

Cartoon Network's first original TV movie, which I co-created, co-wrote and executive produced. It's about a 12-year-old kid named Jimmy Roberts who has a horrible accident at an amusement park and needs an emergency brain transplant. The only brain available is the frozen brain of a famous cartoonist, Milt Appleday. Once Jimmy gets the brain, he sees Milt's cartoons wherever he goes, and his already awkward life is made all the more awkward.

Re-Animated premiered in 2007 as the highest-rated movie or special in Cartoon Network's history. A TV series based on Re-Animated, titled Out of Jimmy’s Head, premiered on Cartoon Network in 2007 and 2008. I co-wrote and executive produced all 20 half-hour episodes of the show.

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends

Cartoon Network's hit animated series about what happens to imaginary friends once kids outgrow them. I was a writer on Foster's for four seasons and wrote the series finale. I also co-wrote the 90-minute Foster's TV movie, Destination Imagination, for which I received a 2008-2009 Primetime Emmy award for "Best Animated Program (One Hour or More)."

Adventure Time

Adventure Time

Adventure Time is an animated comedy on Cartoon Network about a 12-year-old boy and his talking dog who have adventures in the magical land of Ooo. It’s really weird and really awesome. I was a writer for the first season of the show, and was nominated for a 2010 Emmy award for my work on the episode, "My Two Favorite People."

Current Work

I am head writer for the Disney Channel animated show, Fish Hooks. I’m also developing another show for Disney, which I’m not allowed to talk about except to say that it will change the face of television forever.
